I used up 3 candles, two of which I loved but were just test scents. Blueberry Pumpkin Patch and Sweater Weather smelled amazing. I wish that they made it out to all stores but they didn't. I love all apple smelling things in the early Fall. I finished up two scrubs and one foaming hand soap. I decided to toss out two of my wall plugins since I think they stop working after a while. I'll get new ones in the Spring.

The Seed hand scrub I really enjoyed using at night at it was really cheap from Duane Reade drugstore which is a huge plus. The Deborah Lipmann striper to go worked great while I was traveling. I might try out a cheaper brand the next time though since these are so expensive. The Fresh Brown Sugar body polish was great but I'm fine with my Bath and Body Works ones so I wouldn't buy this one. Nothing else really stood out to me so I wouldn't rebuy any of these things except for my Shick Intuition razors.
I used up a ton of perfume samples. It has been my mission to go through them all before going back to my full sized bottles. I am not allowing myself any new perfume until I use up all of mine so that I only have one bottle left. Again, trying to get rid of clutter. I do not need 6 perfume bottles. I'm on the fence of how I feel about the Revlon Lip Butters. I used up Sugar Plum. I lip the pigmentation but find they feel thick and heavy on my lips. There isn't anything here that I plan to rebuy. I would buy more Marc Jacobs perfume as I really like his perfumes.
For skincare I finished up a few things. My beloved Shiesdeo cotton which I will always rebuy and my Lancome eye makeup remover. Love those things. The Fresh soy face cleanser I have really enjoyed and would consider buying it in a full size. The Dr. Jart mask was good but I feel that there are good cheaper sheet masks out there. The Shiesedo white lucent toner was good but I doubt I would rebuy it because I want to pick up the Clarins one next.
So that's my October empties. I think that these posts are great to also give me a sense of how long it takes me to use up products so that I don't overbuy things. But from now on it's going to be one in and one out. That's my goal. Not having two conditioners but once I finish one I get to buy a new one. I need to resist the sales and if it doesn't work out that when I run out of something that there is a sale then so be it. I would rather have the space in my closet. If you all feel the same way about clutter. Let me know how you handle resisting the urge to buy backups and sale items.
