Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches

The Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow palette was released very recently and has been advertised as an all matte palette. The palette is $27 and you get six full sized eyeshadows. This doesn't come with any primers or brushes like the other Naked palettes. I don't mind this though because it helps make the palette cost less money. Some of the colors are exclusive to this palette and some you can find elsewhere. For the month of December, I currently running a giveway of this palette.

December 2012 Giveaway

I have a great giveaway for December. Urban Decay recently came out with a new palette called the Naked Basics palette. It literally just came out today November 29th and I ordered one for you all to have a chance and win. Of course I picked one up for myself too. This is the palette of the moment and one that everyone is talking about. The value is $27 and I believe it is only available right now at urbandecay.com.

New Urban Decay 30-Shade Eyeshadow Vault

I was recently searching the Sephora website and came across this new palette from Urban Decay. It is called the 30-Shade Eyeshadow Vault. It retails for $270 but you get 30 eyeshadows. If you are an Urban Decay junkie this is an amazing deal but if you already have a lot of their palettes you may want to pass on this one. It's not for everyone because it is pricey but its something worth looking more into. This is available I believe only at Sephora.com.

Project X Pan

Yes, you are reading the title of this post right, I am doing a project X pan. For those of you who don't know what project pan is there are many rules but I'll just give you a general idea. The goal is to use up a certain number of products before you buy anything new. Some people also go on a low buy during this period because for some it can last several months. I don't know how those people do it. Well I've decided to do this since I have a lot of makeup and need to take a break for a little bit from buying it. Starting on October 1st I won't be buying any makeup or skincare products only 100% necessary (i.e. I run out of toner or cleanser).

Product's I've Repurchased

Instead of doing a post on what product's I would repurchase I thought I would first instead share with you what I have already repurchased. I think its easy to say what you think you would buy again but showing what you actually have purchased multiple times speaks volumes. It says a lot for someone who is always looking for something better when it comes to makeup. These are products that I pretty much use on a daily basis and continue to repurchase.

5 Beauty Product's I'm Dying to Get My Hands On

I'm going to start a series on "wishlist" blog posts to share which products/items I've been wanting to purchase most recently. The wishlist is of course always growing but this will periodically give you a sense of some things that I really want to buy/try out.

1. Make Up For Ever HD Kabuki Brush-$40

Sephora describes this brush "soft-to-the-touch" yet sufficiently firm nylon brush designed to sweep powder on the face. This is a Sephora exclusive brush that was designed for the HD Microfinish Powder. I don't own any Kabuki brushes and thought that this would be a great place to start. I think everyone really needs to have a Kabuki brush in their collection. I thought that this might be good for blending in bronzer, blush, etc so that I don't have harsh lines on my face when I do my makeup. I also really like that this comes with a bag for travel and storage. Over 300 people on Sephora have rated this brush at 5 stars.
