Project Use It Up- Samples/Minis Edition

I've decided today to go through all of my samples/minis and organize them. After doing that I realized that I just have a ton of samples that I need to use it. My goal is to use up as many of these samples before the end of 2012. I wish update you at the end of the year with how I did. Of course the samples pile is always growing since I am always getting freebies with orders, at events, beauty boxes, etc. I will also be including products that I use up in my empties post each month. My makeup samples are not as bad as my skincare ones. Certain areas of skincare I could not have to buy anything new for a very long time, like moisturizer. So these are my samples that I'm trying to use up in 2012:

Whats on My Face?

I love learning what are people's favorite Foundations, BB Creams, and Tinted Moisturizers. Basically what does everyone love to wear on their face? I got the idea for this post from A Little Bit etc. You should check out her blog as she does some great posts. I am only going to be talking about what I currently own and use and what I currently like that I own. I have some other BB creams that I am not 100% sure yet so I didn't want to talk about them in this post. I do want to mention that my favorite all time foundation is Nars Sheer Glow in Deauville. I plan on picking this up as soon as I finish up some of my other foundations.

Most Expensive Makeup Item

This post is all about my most expensive makeup item. I didn't include any eyeshadow palettes. I tried to just pick one item that I paid quite a bit more. Any guesses which Chanel product this might be?

5 Minute Makeup with 5 Items

So today I was thinking to myself if I only had 5 minutes to do my makeup what 5 products would I use. There are certain things for me that are without questions products that I couldn't leave the house without having on. Sometimes this is what I'll wear on the weekends too. My Mac Eyeshadow Palettes: Purples

This is going to be my first post on my MAC palettes. I have a neutral palette, a purple palette, and a brown palette. If I'm not wearing neutrals I am probably wearing purples. I think purples look great with brown eyes. The MAC palettes can hold 15 eyeshadow pans. The pans sell for $11.50 each and the 15 palette sells for $16. The packaging is very slim but yet still sturdy. I don't mind traveling with these palettes since they are so slim. MAC also sells 4 pan palettes which I have some of those as well. You can only purchase the pans from freestanding stores or online.
