Tarte Holiday 2012 Fantastic Foursome Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Enthusiast Set Swatches, Photos, & Review

Before the Sephora VIB sale ends tonight I wanted to share with you the Tarte blush set that I picked up recently. If you can still get your hands on it, it's a great deal. If you are trying to decided between this and the LipSurgence set I would get this. I love Tarte's blushes and didn't find any dupes for any of these colors in all of the 30 plus blushes that I have.

Top 5 Favorite Fall & Winter Blushes Swatches, Photos, & Review

I picked out for you my favorite Fall & Winter blushes. I have a lot of pink blushes but wanted to pick out for you the ones that I would reach for more in the Fall & Winter and not as much during the rest of the year.  I tend to lean toward mauve & plum colors with golden shimmer in some. I am very fair skin so with some of these I have to really use a light hand but I still love all of these colors.

NYX Blush in Angel: Swatches, Photos, & Review

This review is on the NYX powder blush in Angel. For some reason it seems like there is a lot of variability in what color people get. I've heard that from a few people and when I was looking at swatches online it seemed like they looked different on many blogs. For the price, these are excellent blushes. I usually get mine from either Harmon's which is located in Bed, Bath, and Beyond or online at Cherry Culture. You get .18 oz/5.2 grams of product and they retail for around $6. I try to get them when Cherry Culture is having a sale. The color is a peachy/pink color with some sheen but the sheen doesn't show up as much on the cheeks. I think this blush would work well for fair to medium skin tones. Any darker and it would be too light of a blush.

Nars Blush Collection + Swatches

I have a large blush collection so I thought I would start off by sharing with you my Nars collection. I really enjoy Nars blushes. They are nicely pigmented but when used with the right brush can either be very soft or you can build up to a lot of color. I have fair skin and all of these colors work well for me. Nars has a nice variety of shimmer, satins, and mattes in their blush collection. I think I have a nice variety here to show you as well. Nars blushes retail for $28 USD. You can purchase them at Sephora or on Nars website.

Most Worn Things Tag-Summer Edition

I decided to do the most worn summer things tag that I've been seeing a lot on YouTube and on some people's blogs. I wasn't tagged by anyone to do this but I'm going to do it anyways. This was kind of hard for me since I don't really switch things up too much for Summer. My most worn things tend to be things I wear a lot year round but I'm looking forward to sharing this with you all so that you can get a better sense of  some of my favorite things and get to know me better. So here are my 11 most worn things:

1. What is your most worn nail polish?
I really like Essies Cute As A Button for Spring/Summer and have worn this a lot. I tend to switch up my nail polishes every couple of days so it was really hard for me to pick a favorite as I love them all. This one just stood out to me though and I feel like I wore it more than some of my others. It's a pretty peach/pink color which I love. I don't like Essie's brushes as much as OPI but I make it work.

5 Minute Makeup with 5 Items

So today I was thinking to myself if I only had 5 minutes to do my makeup what 5 products would I use. There are certain things for me that are without questions products that I couldn't leave the house without having on. Sometimes this is what I'll wear on the weekends too. This was not easy to eliminate to just 5 items but somehow I was able to mange to to do it. Here are my 5 essentials for a quick makeup look:

Illamasqua Naked Rose Blush Review

After watching people on YouTube and reading some blogs I had to add Naked Rose to my Sephora Wishlist. I would go into Sephora from time to time and none of the stores that I would go into would have this blush. Then today, Friday the 13th I somehow got lucky. I was near the 86th and Lexington store and decided to go in and look around. Can't not go into a Sephora when one is nearby. To my luck the first thing I saw when I walked in was Illamasqua, and their was the Naked Strangers Collection on display. I saw Naked Rose, swatched it and knew I had to have it. Up until purchasing this blush I only owned one other Illamasqua blush in Katie. Katie is one of my all time favorite blushes so I knew I had to have more of them eventually. I had just been waiting for the right color. This is the right color! I do think that my iPhone is making the blush appear darker than it is and not as pink as it really is but hopefully you can get the idea.
