I picked up a few things from the recent VIB 20% off sale. Some I purchased online and some things I purchased in store. I tend to like to buy things to try them out and typically will always bring a few things back that I don't love. I have too much makeup not to love things I keep. I think I have a good selection of skincare, hair care nail polish, and makeup. No perfumes because I have like 5 bottles that I have to go through so I am officially on a perfume no buy for quite a while. I also decided not to pick up backups of anything. Backups are not going to be in my vocabulary anymore. I plan to buy things as I finish them. I want to declutter and this will help to do that.
I received this really cute box that included some discount cards as well as a new VIB card. I don't remember ever getting anything like this in years past so its nice for VIB's to get a different card then regular BI's.
They also included a mirror which is nice I guess but I find it extremely hard to open and a little heavy so I won't be using this but it's a nice touch to include it.

I'm happy to have this 10% off coupon. This will come in handy when I run out of haircare, skincare, etc. 10% isn't much but it helps and if you use ebates when they are offering 8% back thats a pretty good deal. If you want me to do a post on ebates just let me know.
They also gave out these really cute bags. This would be a great lunch back or just to carry papers around. It kind of reminds me of the Lululemon bags except not as good quality. They are nice though.

I was lucky enough to get the Nars 500 point perk. I got a mini Nars Oragsm blush, eye primer, face primer, and their lip pencil in New Lover. The lip pencil was a 100 point perk that I missed out on so I was really happy to see this set. I almost always wait for makeup with the 500 point perks. I like to get things that will last a while.

I decided to try out the Tarte Eyelash curler. I've been using it for the past few days and I'm not sure what I think of it yet. It's good but I don't know if I found my holy grail curler yet. I heard someone talking about a new MAC one so I might try that out. I'm always on a quest for an amazing curler. If you have any suggestions please let me know. This also came with a mini mascara which I will be including in my November giveaway. You can enter that giveaway here.

I picked up the Smashbox Cream Eyeshadow in Gemstone. The color is a plum/taupe color. It looks more taupe in the picture but it has much more plum on the eyes. I'm just not 100% sure about this one. I kind of feel like the color is blah. If you have it I would love to hear your thoughts. This could be a return potentially. I still haven't yet fallen in love with Smashbox. I have hardly any of their products.

When I went in for my Personal Beauty Advisor consultation, my advisor recommended this product for thinning hair. As I get into my 30's I am getting more concerned about this so I thought I would try it out. I'm not overly optimistic but willing to give it a try. Will try and do a review of this product. I do think Phyto makes good hair care products.
This eye-makeup remover is holy grail for me. I use it every night to take off my eye-makeup and it works get. I think that they just came out with an oil-free one so for those of you who don't like the oil you may want to check that one out. I love this though and even though it's expensive well worth it.

I picked up the Aurora highlighter from Illamasqua. This is a new product that Illamasqua recently came out with and a lot of the British YouTuber's were talking about it so I had to pick it up. It's pretty but I don't know if it's that special from my other highlighters that I already have. I kind of feel guilty having it too because I have like 5 highlighters already in my collection. It's pretty but I may not need it.

Now this I needed (well wanted :)) and it's amazing. This is the blush Outlaw from Nars. It was limited edition but it was so popular that Nars brought it back. It's perfect for Fall and Winter. It reminds me of Luster because of the gold undertone in it but it's very rosy and looks amazing on my cheeks. It looks super bright but I don't have to use a light hand with this which I like. Love this blush!

I picked up three lipsticks with the plan to only keep two. Nars Valparaiso and Illamasqua Magnetism are a little bit similar so I thought I would pick between the two. The Nars one is a matte though. I think so far I'm finding the Illamasqua one more wearable for me. I also picked up another YSL glossy stain in number 10. FleurdeForce said this is her new favorite red and I had to pick it up. Reds in my opinion are so hard to wear because they can bleed and get on your teeth. These glossy stains really do stay put. I even took a picture to show you my hand when I tried to rub the color off.

The last thing that I picked up is the Butter London polish in Knees Up. I've wanted to this color for a while. It's a beautiful red for Winter and I am very excited to add this to my collection. This polish has no glitter in it but is amazing for a classy and elegant look on the nails.

So that's what I picked up during this sale. I tried to restrain myself a bit but know that I could always do better. I think I picked up some new and exciting things to try out and I'm excited to play around with them. If you shopped the sale, what did you pick up?
