Top 5 Favorite Fall & Winter Blushes Swatches, Photos, & Review

I picked out for you my favorite Fall & Winter blushes. I have a lot of pink blushes but wanted to pick out for you the ones that I would reach for more in the Fall & Winter and not as much during the rest of the year.  I tend to lean toward mauve & plum colors with golden shimmer in some. I am very fair skin so with some of these I have to really use a light hand but I still love all of these colors.

Nars Sin & Luster Blushes

Nars Luster is a recent purchase of mine and I have only worn it a few times but I can see why people love it so much. It is described as a "sheer golden apricot". It is a peachy/orange color with some golden sheen. It really just gives my cheeks an amazing glow and reminds me of falling leaves. The color is very buildable so this can work on many skintones.

Nars Sin is one of those cult favorite blushes for Fall. Sin is more of a berry toned blush with gold sheen to it. I love love love this color for the Fall and Winter. It is really fun to wear because I think its different than your typically colors. Again this is buildable so can be worn on many skin tones.

First off this packaging of this is beautiful. This is another recent purchase but one that has quickly become a favorite. It's a beautiful plum color that is more of a satin finish with no shimmer or sheen. You get a ton of product so for the price it is a great deal. I have to use a lighter hand with this blush but I'm ok with that because it is beautiful.

Illamasqua Naked Rose Blush

Naked Rose is described as a "soft netural pink". On my skin it is more of a rose-pink.It has a matte finish and I don't have to worry about using a light hand with this blush. I think that this could probably be worn throughout the entire year since it is more netural with a hint of rose. I like rose colored makeup for this season.

Last but not least is probably the one blush that everyone has in their favorites for Fall & Winter and maybe even for all year round. If I had to pick one blush that I think is the most popular blush ever this would be it. I love this so much. It is described as a "nude". I find that it is more of a warm pink/nude.If you pick up one blush from this post I would get this one.

  3. Wow, these are some gorgeous blushes! I can't wear anything too plum-toned because my skin is warm, but Tarte Exposed, NARS Luster, and Illamasqua Naked Rose all look right up my alley. Thanks for sharing :)
