What's in My September Glossybox

I received my September Glossybox kind of late this month. I'm not really sure why they send it out towards the end of the month. It makes me feel like I'm getting it almost in October instead of September. I am glad though that they don't get sent the same time as Birchbox. It's nice to have them spread out. I paid around $22 for this box. I was excited to get this box because people were saying there were all either full-size or deluxe-size samples.

The theme of the September box was "Fall Forward". The card says, "From the fall fashion runways tot he season's latest beauty trends, GLOSSYBOX offers a forward look into new products, formulas, technologies  and colors of the season. This month, we celebrate beauty's breakthrough products and offer a mixed set of forward thinking essentials. From a one-step spa treatment that enriches the skin, to a power packed smoothing system to tame tresses and a natural lip refresher with a kiss of color. All this paired with the ultimate multi-tasking miracle for the face, this month's cache of luxuries will keep you beautiful and current!"

I'm so glad that there was so no magazine in this month's box and that they could put the money toward the products. I got 2 full sized products and 3 deluxe sized products which was pretty nice.

What's in My September Glossybox

The first item in my box was the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water. Glossybox says, "Made with mineral-rich Japanese hot spring water, this best selling spa water is infused with six essential herbs to protect and nurture skin. In a single sweep, it gently removes makeup and skin's toughest impurities." A full size of this is $13 for 3.38 oz. This is a not technically a full size since the company does sell a larger bottle but this is 3.38 oz so it does have a $13 value. I'm very excited to try this out. I like cleansing waters and think this will be great for travel. I've never tried anything either from this brand so excited to try the brand.

Next up is another shampoo and conditioner. This goes on the list of things I'm sick of getting in beauty boxes. Something about shampoo and conditioner just isn't very exciting to me and I usually don't love most of the ones I get. This is a deluxe size so we will see if I like it. Glossybox says, "Nourished with plant extracts, this superior smoothing shampoo will purify and moisturize the scalp and hair. This gentle moisturizing conditioner puts the finishing touch on your tresses and leaves your hair smooth, radiant, and revitalized." A full size is $20 for each for 10.1 oz. The packaging doesn't say how many ounces you get.

Next up is the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream with SPF 42. Normally I would be super excited to try this out but the color is too dark for me so this will go up on the blog sale. Here is what Glossybox says, " Hailing from Korea, this Blemish Balm, also known as BB cream is a multi-tasking powerhouse for the face. This multi-use cream provides light coverage, soothes, protects, and moisturizers. Suitable for all skin types." This retails for $29.99 for 1.69 oz. This product is a full size I believe.

The last item in the box was the Kryolan for Glossybox Moisture Rich Lipstick in GLOSSY pink. I think a lot of people were really excited about this product. I'm on the fence if I like the lipstick yet or not. I may put it up on the blog sale. The color is pretty I'm just not 100% yet about the formula. I also have a lot of lipsticks so I've been going through my stash a lot more figuring out what I really like and what I don't like as much. Here is what Glossybox said about the lipstick, "Treat your lips to a creamy, long lasting lipstick enriched with Vitamin E to stimulate and hydrate your lips. This perfect pop of GLOSSY pink compliments all skin tones and lifestyles." A full size of .14 oz retails for $14. This product is a full size.

So that's my September box. Overall I'm happy with the products in this month's box. I wish the BB cream was in my color and then I would have been beyond happy about it but its not so that's just too bad. What did you all think of your box if you got one?

  1. That cleansing spa water item seems pretty interesting... I never received that in my box this month. I got a mattifying gel instead. :)

    2. I didn't recieve the cleansing spa water either. I would have loved to try it. On the Glossybox website it has a picture of all the items together so I wonder if they just forgot or if they put it instead of the mattifying gel.

  2. As I told you on ig I came home to mine. But I had to read your blog first and see what you thought of it before I even open mine. I wonder if we got the same color bb cream. That color looks like it work suit me well. If I like it I may have to hit up your blog sale.
